Can my English friend marry a Russian immigrant?

Dear Sirs

I am making an enquiry on behalf of my friend who does not have a computer at the moment.

She has been with her gentleman friend for five years and would like to get married in a registry office. She is English and he is from Russia
chechneya. He has been here in England for some years and has been given permission to live here.

What does she need to do and what does he need to do to comply with a registry office wedding.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Irene G

I think I might be gay ›

Hi Irene, That sounds as though it shouldn't be a problem at all. The best thing you can do is visit this website and tell your friend all the things she must do in order to be able to get married.
